We are preparing for the Kainui District Concert which will be held on August 27. Each child has been given a songbook and CD with the songs to learn, and we are having daily practices. The school band is also busy working on the accompaniment for our second song, “Rock Around the Clock’. Our principal, Mrs Marshall, wants us to dress in black trousers and t-shirts with a yellow throw for the girls and a green waist band for the boys. Please start collecting, borrowing, ‘stealing’ the black clothing now. A group of parent volunteers are going to make the throws and waist bands.
